Ghosts of Amityville
So for starter they show a bunch of clowns, likely a traveling troupé. Then they show a clown traveling in a cab(?) who then - I assume - kills the dirver on some highway, near Amityville.
Then we switch to Father and Daugher traveling in their car probably years later, judging from the very different film-quality. Digital camera and all that.
The editing work is shit. You need the subtitles to understand what is aired in the radio - there1s no other sensory input for this part. Meaning no talking. And cutting to comlpete silence from the out-of-the-car perspective makes the absolute silnce there deafening.
They go to a Cabin in the Woods, where we watch a lotof B-footage, when finaly the(?) clown lures Daughter to the attic. The clow is obviously a ghost, as it turns invisible to her.
Unrelated to that, Father is called back to his company "because the other driver didn"t show up". I assume then he is a truck-driver then. But then again he only goes away "for a couple of hours", so I just don't know.
The clown of course re-appear during this time. But does absolutely nothing. Ok, ok, the girl does go a bit outside, then runs back, for what Mr. Clow does a phone-call a'la Scream, and plays a bit of Jason Vorhees rising from the lake, rofl. In the end Mr. Clown gets into the house through a window, but he isn't really there - remember: ghosts -, either way Daughter runs out. Just to see Clown standing knee-deep in the water, playing Pennywise. A lot more running around follows - but it was just a dream!
Or was it?!
By the way: EPILEPSY WARNING from 25th minute!
But it was just a dream!
We learn that Mom got killed ike 2 month ago. The new info is the 2 months, we knew since the beginning about her death. No, she wasn't a clown. I mean I assume she wasn't.
Girl sleeps back, dreams about her mother, but then again Mr. Clown appears, she wakes up. That was again who-knows-how-many minutes I won't get back. Ah. Story development! Turns out Mom died in a car-accident - obviously referencing the opening scene. Then this conversation comes: "There he is!", the girl pointing at the clown. "None is there" - clown is appearaently invisible to Dad. "I go and check" - says Dad.
WTF? Why would you? One, you don't believe your daughter. Two, you obviously don't see anybody. Three: if somebody IS there, that's obviously bad news, get in the car, and hit the pedal to the metal!
What I seriously don't understand is, Daughter is having these videochats. In dream, or for real, doesn't matter. Once with Boss, once with some Antie. Both wants to speak with Father, and are insiting she is just making up Dad is not there. Why not rise the phone and turn it around to show Papa is nowhere?
Even more running around in the woods come.
But it was just a dream!
But it was just a dream that is was just a dream! Or something!
Then in a new dream, the next dream, or whatever Mr. Clown kills Father. We don't care. Nothing matters here, everything is just a dream after all. Plus the girl crushes clow to a tree with the car, and chops it in the head with an axe. Not that it'd solve anything, remember ghosts. Especialy that the girl was the clown all along! But it was all just a dream! I mean weaking up - that was just a dream too! Or something!
Finaly the girl runs out of the forest begging for help to some old lady driving a car that way.
But you can not escape The Clown!
